Phalaenopsis schilleriana (species)
 
Phalaenopsis schilleriana was described by H.G. Reichenbach in 1860 and named after Consul Schiller who first flowered the orchid two years earlier. The species is endemic to the Philippines where it enjoys the warm tropical climate.
