Cattleya lueddemanniana is a species in the Cattleya genus. Found in Venezuela in the northern coastal range in fairly low scrubby hills at altitudes of 0 to 500 meters as a medium sized, unifoliate, hot to warm growing epiphyte found with cylindrical, compressed pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, coriaceous, erect, oblong, obtuse, grey green leaf that blooms in the winter and spring on a terminal, arising on a mature pseudobulb, subtended by a broad basal spathe, short to 4" [to 10 cm], few [3 to 5] flowered inflorescence that gives rise to strongly fragrant, floral scented flowers.
