Bulbophyllum orthoglossum (species)
Found as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte at elevations up to 300 to 1400 meters in Sulawesi and the Philippines in primary and remnant forests with clustered, conical pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, leathery, oblong, obtuse, acute leaf and blooms on an erect, 10" to 12" [25 to 30 cm] long, successive few flowering inflorescence with fragrant flowers. This species enjoys hot temperatures with high humidity, partial shade and good air movement.
